Made this for my sister-in-law's retirement tea. I started with layering-weight cardstock for the easel base because I was afraid the detailed die wouldn't want to cut two layers of heavy cardstock at the same time. Added a baseweight layer to the "bottom" portion of the easel to give it stability and heft.
Used diecut stacking, one of my favorite techniques (that I learned from Jennifer McGuire) -- it really does make diecuts stand out on the card.
