I was inspired by the Throwback Canvas Art (https://www.dormify.com/products/can...nt=44504812436) as I went to school in Northern California. I used soft greens and light browns, with pops of color for accents. Only embellishment is a twine tie. As for my dorm decor, I went to school in the late 1970s- I basically brought my clothes, a green crocheted blanket made by my grandmother for college and my stereo system

Lovely seashells, Julia, and I like all the happy words you used.

This is so fun! I love the words and I am smiling! I wonder when they started to make such a ta do about dorm rooms. We bought my son just the essentials. His side of the room was a bit blah. Our daughter brought her favorites from her room at home and it's very colorful. She even brought a painting she had done.
