I watercolored the tree and added a sentiment. Had a hard time with my card this week and ended up throwing a completed card away and making this one a little different. Ugh! Not my week.
I had an old stamp I used for the sentiment and rather liked it.
I am entering my card into the August Fan Club Challenge: IC0819--Contain Yourself---One interpretation is to use a box, bowl, jar, vase, etc. so I used a pot (which came with the tree). Ha
To answer your question about decorating when we moved out---Gosh, Angie, I think I rented a furnished apt. soon after I moved out and who knows.....been too long. Know what I mean? Used a lot of things from a shower and parents probably gave me some things until I could purchase.

Ooooooh, Brenda...I love this sweet potted tree. And the little bit of music is the perfect addition. Sorry your crafty week was frustrating, but glad you persevered as the result is just perfect.

Oh, ugh! I am so sorry you had computer problems! I am so glad you were able to post this. Such a sweet Christmas tree! Pretty water coloring! TFS about your first place! I think I remember the brown placemats because my mom thought they were ugly!

GReat for the challenges. That tree is wonderful, and the container perfect!
