I watercolored the tree and added a sentiment. Had a hard time with my card this week and ended up throwing a completed card away and making this one a little different. Ugh! Not my week.
I had an old stamp I used for the sentiment and rather liked it.
I am entering my card into the August Fan Club Challenge: IC0819--Contain Yourself---One interpretation is to use a box, bowl, jar, vase, etc. so I used a pot (which came with the tree). Ha
To answer your question about decorating when we moved out---Gosh, Angie, I think I rented a furnished apt. soon after I moved out and who knows.....been too long. Know what I mean? Used a lot of things from a shower and parents probably gave me some things until I could purchase.

This reminds me of my grandparents Christmas trees. They always got a balled one and it's container was a galvanized wash tub. Thanks for this memory. Love your image and the sweet sentiment.
