It's time for a new color challenge and Chris is hosting this week. She has chosen Real Red, Granny Apple Green and Color Me Clover with a dessert option of plaid.
I am in the midst of packing to move, plus I had family stuff this weekend, so I didn't have time to make a card until this afternoon. As a result, no time for plaid, and using a stencil made for a quick and easy card.
I used Distress Inks close to the challenge colors, blending the two greens for the leaves. Unfortunately, the two colors are not real obvious on a number of the leaves in the photo, better in real life. After stamping the sentiment in black pigment ink so it would show up over the stenciled image, I took a gold ink pad and swiped it around the panel edge, then added splatter with the same ink. When dry, added to a black card stock base.
Thanks so much for looking and I hope you'll join the Color Challenge this week!

Stef,
What a beautiful card. I love the sentiment. Your card made me smile. Whoever gets this, is a lucky person.
