This is a quick and easy watercolor stamped background, that would also work great for cardmaking. Ink up the stamp with Distress Inks, starting with the lighter inks towards the horizon line and gradually going darker towards the top and bottom edge. You can use the regular-sized Distress Inks, but the small ones area easier. Avoid the moon. Mist the stamp repeatedly with water and press onto watercolor paper. Don't worry if it isn't perfect, unpredictability is one of the joys with this techniques.
For extra shine, add some pearly mica spray misting to the moon. Die cut and stamp sentiments, and die cut anchors from leftover papers.
