This card was originally made for Angie's aka ohmypaper DTGD challenge and I had it made but ran out of time to upload it before our dash to Melbourne and back, 3,342 km away form home.
When I got home I discovered that it also fitted the CAS challenge for this week, so here it is.
Before I go any further I have to share a little story with you.
Forty eight years ago I was trying to have my first child, it was difficult as I suffer from PCOS (and have passed it on to all three of my daughters).
When I finally fell pregnant and delivered a healthy daughter a nursing friend gave me a card with Snoopy on the front sniffing a flower and proclaiming my success. I have never forgotten it and when I came across this image i just had to have it. I have used it before and this most recent is my favourite.
The card is very straight forward. I worked out where the greeting needed to go on the printed paper then stamped the dog image above it on the greeting after the greeting was printed, coloured the image and stamped a second section of the image that included the flower. I fussy cut the flower petals a second time after colouring them then embossed them to give some definition and attached them to the original flower with a glue dot offsetting them slightly. I put a small rhinestone in the centre of the flower.
Inside the card I computer generated the rest of the greeting which reads;
..... of success then stamped congratulations under this using the stamp from SU Sky is the Limit. I glued this panel to the inside of the card and the front panel was raised slightly with some craft foam and glued to the base.

Wonderful image! Those WSD dogs are so darn sweet aren't they? Your colouring is superb! Thanks for providing the details. I always forget I have a printer and computer when I am stuck for a sentiment. :-) Love your card!
