I tried the technique where you applied acrylic paints to heavy cs, laid on a stencil, then wiped off some paint. This was not a great success, as I tore some paper off when the stencil was removed. Also, the turquoise paint seemed to be the only colour showing up. I die cut the swan and lilies and coloured them and adhered. The swan is on dimensionals, as is the sentiment. I added some stickles onto the spots that were torn off. Hopefully, it give the impression of a pond.

It looks very cool from my point of view! The texture created is like a bit of froth on the waves! So glad you're taking the challenge to play in the Dare to Get Dirty fun!

Had same paper lift/tear on my attempt - agree with above, in your card design, it just adds to water movement effect - it's a keeper!
