This card is for Sandee aka stampersandeeAâs Dare To Get Dirty challenge.
I needed to do a card for my youngest stepson for his birthday. He and his brother are coming over on their days off to help us do some landscaping, so it is the perfect opportunity to give him his birthday card. He turned 34 last week but still goes surfing everyday before work, summer and winter, hence the theme.
The card is fairly simple with just a lot of masking using post it notes and a couple of cloud masks I made ages ago from a Memory Box Die.
I wasnât going to colour the surf boards but some of the seawater seeped onto the purple surfboard so out came the copic to hide it and I think it looks better.
I added the wave caps with a SU Chalk marker and Ranger Opaque Pen and thatâs really it.

I love how we have one idea in mind for a card and then something happens and we change up what we were going to do, I do it all the time. Your surfboards look great in these colors and what a fun scene too.
