The Iris symbolizes faith, hope, courage , wisdom and admiration. I choose to color the iris with watercolor pencils rather than use the two stamp method. I used highland heather and gorgeous grape cardstock and gorgeous grape to stamp.

Your watercolouring looks beautiful Mary (thanks for the reminder of water colour pencils too, sometimes I think I have too much stuff LOl). I digress, back to your elegant and thoughtful card - the colours are gorgeous and I love the rich textured back panel. Cheryl will love this.

This is such a pretty card in those grape colors. I am glad you told us what the iris represents because I did not know that. It is perfect for Cheryl.
