This was made for the Teapot Tuesday challenge, MMTPT574. We were asked to use water and flowers to make a card for Cheryl.
I bought these silly brusho things, but am too lazy/scared to use them. So I decided Cheryl was worth the effort to pull them out and if she can fight through her problems, I can overcome my fear to use them. So this was definitely an inspirational challenge for me! I used the Brusho for both the background as well as painting the bird and flowers.
I wish the blue in the corner was blended just a little bit more, but I do like the pop of color it adds to the card. And overall, I'm happy with how it turned out. I also used my brand new stamps that were just delivered yesterday.
I hope it is a bright spot in Cheryl's day when she received it.

So glad you used your Brushos to make this pretty card. I love those colors and I always love a bird card. I'm sure this will delight Cheryl.

Wow Beth this looks fabulous. I'm so glad you tackled the Brusho's. I love the vibrant blue and I especially like the way it looks fluid. I wouldn't change a thing. Cheryl is going to be thrilled with this.

Your Brusho background is beautifully done. I like using them with pasted and for cling-wrap backgrounds but struggle to use them this way. I like the blue corner as it is. What a sweet bird.

Really beautiful and you are right, the deeper blue just pops out and is perfect for this artsy card. I am your 'sister afraid of brusho'... so I get how courageous that was! VOILA, this is such a lovely piece of art and Cheryl will just love it. Fantastic result and amazed it was your first attempt. Thanks for nice comment on my recent Lavender card, really appreciate it. Teresa
