Made for the Teapot Tuesday challenge, MMTPT569. Jacob was a 12yo boy who died from cancer. The challenge was to fill up his grandparents' mailbox with some love. His obituary mentioned that he loved to ride bikes, so I thought this was an appropriate image. I hope that when his grandparents see it, they will remember the better times when Jacob was able to fly around on his bike doing crazy things that I'm sure he did like every other 12yo boy.
It's not my usual style for a sympathy card, but wanted something a little more colorful and upbeat for the death of a child.

Oh Beth this is wonderful....the image and the sentiment. The personalized image will certainly touch the grandparents... it will bring about some good memories of their Jacob.

simply wonderful and perfect for Jacobs' grandparents. I love your dp and the paper flags. They will find this a wonderful memory as time soothes the sting.

This is a really fantastic sympathy card for a young boy! His grandparents will appreciate this too. These cards are so hard to make, but hopefully, this will bring a smile to Jacob's grandparent's faces as they slowly grieve, and remember the good times too. ~Karen
