I sprinkeld Brusho powder Grey and Emerald green on my Card. Sprayed with water, let the Powder run across my Card. After a while I sprinkeld Baking Powder over the wet background, let dry. I inked up my Brayer with Versamark Ink and very lightly brayered over the card. Put embossng powder over my Card and heat embossed it. All the the little dots you see, is that dried Bakingpowder, now embosst.
I punched some tiny stars out (witch fit in my Hand) and glued them on. For the sentiment I used washitape, glued to a Cardstockpiece.

This is really a cool piece you made. I love the texture of the baking powder. How on earth did you think to emboss dried baking powder! It really makes the stars on the panel look like a star burst in the sky! Gorgeous!

I just did a similar technique yesterday with my gel plate and brayer. Fun, huh? Try some ice tea or instant coffee crystals. Spritz with water if you use those. I love this idea for Christmas cards. Fave'd.

Neat background - As I sat looking at it I saw 2 spiring pine trees emerge from that stormy sky. Those itty bitty stars look super cascading over from the heavens.

Beautiful! I like the grey Brusho, it always surprises me how nice it looks. Love the gold stars sprinkled across the background combined with the embossing powder.

I've fav'd this as well! Gorgeous card and thank you for sharing your design process. I am going to have to dig out my baking powder. Such depth and other worldly.
