Fun challenge, Judy! And a perfect one for the card I needed to make for my coworker to celebrate her one year work anniversary. I work for MetLife and we have a fairly new and very simple logo. So I drew it with my Spectrum Aqua markers and pushed the color around on the paper with a wet brush to get a good watercolor effect. I decided to combine this with Leeâs âGlam Up the Grayâ VSN Challenge. But I donât have any good gray paper. Itâs either so dark itâs almost black or so light itâs almost white. I chose to use the light one and I glitzed it up with black glitter paper. Now, hereâs why I donât like to look at the gallery before I make my card, because I donât want to get swayed by the samples. But I had to look at Judyâs card to get an understanding of the challenge and I couldnât get her nice and simple layout out of my head. Well, thanks for the inspiration, Judy!

I don't look either! Maybe that's why I used a die. Your colors are so pretty and I love the matching paper clip. Your co-worker will love this rememberance.

Jen, I love how you think. You are MetLife's card maker extraordinaire. You should make cards for the whole company all over the country. Maybe you do? Anyway, this is so perfect and creative.
