Today Joyce challenged us to use tiny things on our CAS cards. So it was a push to finally use this Flutterbys stamp set that is so not me. But Iâm happy with the way these little fluttering butterflies came out. I combined with Margâs VSN color challenge (but, sorry, no rocks). I stamped the butterflies in Candied Apple and Seedless Preserves and then traced around them with pencil and cut them with my ScanNCut. then I took the negative of the cut and masked off a rectangle and sponged with Cracked Pistachio. I was using SC155 which had two circles nestled behind three circles, so I sponged two circles into the rectangle with Lucky Clover. There was also a small rectangle at the bottom of the sketch which is where I stamped my sentiment and then sponged a bit more green over a torn edge for a bit of interest. I finished by tracing the inside of one of my Spellbinders rectangle dies.

Oh, I love how you used Marg's colors on this! I really want to try that challenge again since I ended up not using all 3 on my succulent. I love how bright and pretty this is. Beautiful butterflies!

well, maybe NOT you, Jen, but this is so delightfully playful. Those flutterbys are well done, and I LOVE the delicate wash of color under your sentiment.
