Lisa is our hostess for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge , and our destination is a hospice who need all sorts of birthday cards. I made this, and when making a sample for Thursday's challenge, I made sure to make a birthday card for that too.
For this one, I found a gel print in my box. The vine die was cut from green card, embossed with a random ef and buffed with luster rub-ons and some inks. The daisies were cut from scraps of DP and layered, with gems in the centre. I outlined some of the lozenges in the background with a white pen - it was still a bit dark so I added white dots with a Posca pen, and then brightened it even more by using gold stickers to add the border. The sentiment was cut from gold card and layered onto a punched label, with the edges sponged with purple. The butterfly is also cut from gold, and has gems on the body.

This is such a super happy birthday card and a beautiful BG too Sabrina. I made a couple that look the same and will also pull from my stash of cards to send them a few more. I also made a huge stack of birthday cards for my VSN samples that will now have a great home. Thank you so much for playing along and sending a few cards to a very worthy cause.

Great card Sabrina! That background is beautiful, especially with the white dots you've added to brighten it up! The gold border, butterfly and sentiment are great touches for your lovely card!

Wow Sabrina, just when I think I cannot be surprised by a card you post- I am! How fun because I do love to be surprised like this. This is one amazing work of art my friend. I am still trying to take everything in and I love savoring each delicious find too. The gold and purple are such a great color combination along with the white highlights and the shiny gold accents too. I can just see how thrilled the recipient will be with this gorgeous card. I know that gold butterfly will twinkle and sparkle and just delight the recipient so very much too! ~Karen.

Oh my goodness what a magic creation. I could get lost wondering through your amazing background. You sure create amazing things with your Geli plate Sabrina. I love everything about this.

So beautiful, Sabrina! Love the fabulous bg with the die cut over the top and the pretty daisies and butterfly! As you know I always love what you do to the edges of cards, too!
