I've been having a lot of fun playing with alcohol inks. I finally tried the yupo paper I have been hoarding. It was fun, but I need to practise a lot more in order to get better results.the design of this vard was inspired by a card that Jennifer McGuire made in one of her videos. The alcohol ink panel was mounted on dimensionals. The flower was coloured and fussy cut. Die cut leaves were added and the parts over the white card base are mounted on dimensionals. I also need to stamp my sentiments before I adhere the other elements, as I notice it is somewhat slanted.
Our CAS challenge today is to feature summer gardens. I spend a lot of time in my flower gardens, so the flower on this card fits.

This is so striking Ina with these gorgeous colors you used. I think you did a great job with the alcohol inks. I have this flower set and have never thought to use it in red- until now that is. How gorgeous! ~Karen.
