This is a very cool technique. I decided to use a springtime look. After I embossed the white panel, I colored the embossed areas with ink and a blender pen. It roughed up the paper a little. Then I rubbed my emboss buddy all over, lightly patted my VersaMark pad over the raised areas, carefully sprinkled on clear embossing powder, tapped off and heat embossed. It added even more texture, very cool. You might be able to see in the upper left corner a nice shine to the flowers. I layered on black and then on the card base. I stamped at the bottom with a stamp set that was a gift from a friend. Without realizing it, I used the colors in this reversible ribbon so I tied it around and finished with a bow.
Awesome technique. Thank you for looking!

What a beautiful springtime card this is Diane. I have never heard of this technique before, but I sure do love the results I am seeing here. The 2-tone ribbon/bow is fantastic and so are the colors and card design you chose. This happy card just conveys appreciation! ~Karen.
