Sabrina's challenging us to use White Ink in her WTUI challenge, It's a Whiteout.
One of my favorite things about a stamping retreat is using my friends' stamps! The fairy house and greenery bg panel are one of my treasures from a recent retreat. I stamped additional fairies and a sentiment and colored the house with alcohol markers. Used make up brushes to blend inks for a twilight feel. Stenciled white ink through a stencil (bokeh technique) to add some fairy orbs. Colored the fairy wings with glitter gel pen and added Wink of Stella to some of the orbs. Die cut the panel and mounted on a purple card base to finish.TFL

This is so beautiful, Carla. You're right, bokeh is great for fairy scenes. Especially where it highlights those flying fairies! And look at that cute little bluebell house and soft misty woodland, such a magical feel.

Adorable images and I always think the bokeh technique works well with fairies and their secret abodes. How fun to be able to use new images at a friends house!
