I made this card for this week's Featured Stamper who is Catherine (cdimick). For this challenge, Julie chose the theme of "Just One Click Away." Fun! I have gotten to know Catherine the past 4 or 5 years because we both are members of the alphabet challenge group, and what a lovely gal Catherine is. I feel so honored to know Catherine and what an honor it is to go through her gorgeous gallery and pick a card to make. I had such a hard time deciding on one card, but I finally chose this card because I have been wanting to use this same stamp set myself: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. I love Catherine's card and how she had flowers in opposite diagonal corners and gold heat-embossed her sentiment. It was my intention to do this, but I was having so much fun stamping that this card took on a life of it's own I guess. I am not honestly sure if I like it, but I will say I had a lot of fun making it. I cut the middle out with an oval die, then popped it up on fun foam and put it back in place for some added dimension. The blue butterfly hides some well-placed, yet unwanted, smudges (sigh). Catherine, I am so delighted you are this week's featured stamper. Enjoy your well-deserved week in the spotlight my friend. Hugs! ~Karen.

I love it! And the funny thing is I was just thinking about the God's beauty set the other day and thinking I should use it. It has not seen ink for quite some time. So...I just love that you used it here along with your wonderful arrangement of blooms in all these dreamy colors. I feel your pain about the smudges, but one would never know the blue butterfly is concealing it.

Well, I am sure that I like it very much, Karen! This is lovely! I love the colors, so pretty. And who among us hasn't covered a smudge with a well placed something or other. In this case, a beautiful blue butterfly. Simply beautiful! Thank you for your kind words too.

This is a beautiful mix of colors! I have this stamp set and have used it may twice! I love the flowers in it. I just need inspiration on how to arrange them. I think I have found that in your card! Totally beautiful!
