This is definitely one of my favorite cards I've ever made. 53 minutes. I wasn't sure I was going to make it. But with all the drying time and making breakfast and cheesy potatoes for later, it was almost two hours. This is my last card for VSN. It's Jacqueline's "To the Moon, Alice" challenge, which was perfect for this "May the Fourth" Star Wars wedding card I needed to make. I watched the first video that she linked and chose to try the marker smooshing version. It was fun and I learned how to use an acrylic block to splatter paint. Hey, maybe I'll splatter more now!
I can't believe that we haven't featured cdimick before. I always love Catherine's cards! I went back to 2016 for this one. I replaced the tardis with the Millenium Falcon (had to go online and find a coloring page) and I really liked her sunburst design emanating from her tardis, so I borrowed Desmond's glow in the dark glitter glue and made a burst of glow in the dark glitter from the Millenium Falcon. I thought it would be fun to put a "Just Married" banner on the ship, so I handlettered both the banner and the sentiment strip. The inside will say "Forever and Always" if I can just find my Mixed Greetings stamp set...

Jenn, you totally tickled this Star War's lover's funny bone today! This is so incredibly creative and fun my friend. I absolutely love how you took Catherine's fabulous "Dr. Who" card and turned it into this wonderful Star Wars-themed wedding card. This made me laugh right out loud! Fun! Happy Easter to you too! ~Karen.
