Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us some
beautiful, warm colors to work with: Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove and Berry Burst. The dessert option is "sparkle."
I used one of my favorite techniques, Stencil Monoprints. This technique evidently works best with a more solid stencil; but I wanted to use this swirly, girly design because I'm sending this card to my great niece, who is a freshman in college.
I just had to use my new Alphanumeric Label dies from Tim Holtz/Sizzix. I will admit creating the banner was a bit fiddly, and it did take some time, but I love the results! I die-cut the "You" from gold glimmer paper and added a few sequins for dessert. Popped that layer onto a base of Grapefruit Grove with foam tape for a bit of dimension.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Fabulous background Barbara! Love all the design elements and how you were able to incorporate all the challenge colors so well! The gold glimmer sentiment is icing on the cake!
