Yesterday, June 1, was Perrin's 6th Birthday! I can't believe he's 6, and almost done with Kindergarten! I let Perrin pick what stamps he wanted me to use for treat bags, and he picked the alligator and lion images, made by Paper Salon.
I made some little treat bags for him to take in and pass out to his class. I simply trimmed the sacks to 6", stamped the small white paper sacks (they are super cheap at Smart and Final), used my scalloped circle punch for the focal image, and colored images with Twinkling H2Os.
I didn't want to staple the sacks closed, knowing that Kindergarteners will rip it open, so I decided to close it a different way. I folded the top over, punched a hole thru the focal image and the folded over flap, then tied it closed with ribbon.
I'm sure all the Mom's love me today, since we put a kazoo in each bag! hehehehehehe!! Oh! And my Dh said they had to have googlie eyes! He's learning well!
