One of my first bookmarks. I have a lot of learning yet. I used 2 inch x 6 inch ivory bookmark (precut from hobby lobby). I wanted simple but nice so I used just ranger ink in black for the leaves and saying. I then took the flower and used watercolor pencils. I used gold ribbon and adhered the flower to it. I then used a lamenate bookmark cover ( not seen in photo because I did this after the photo).

welcome to Splitcoaststampers. You have inspired me to make more bookmarks, this looks great.

Perfect bookmark, nice and flat but with plenty of interest - this would be a lovely little gift for a gardener or any keen reader! Welcome to the gallery!
Thank you for all the wonderful comments and the links.
I liked the simplicity of this bookmark. I wanted something that could go through the lamenate machine and easy to mail.
