I made this card for 2 challenges. The first challenge is the Featured Stamper challenge and the 2nd challenge is for the letter B alphabet challenge (the B is for baby card). I am needing baby cards lately for all of my dear friends who are becoming grandmothers- fun! I had this baby giraffe die out and was wanting to use it, but not sure how. Liz is our featured stamper this week so I happily went through her gorgeous gallery very early this morning and found this gorgeous card that inspired me to make my baby card: CCC17AUG Deck The Halls Wreath No.2 by LizBeth1976 at Splitcoaststampers. Liz's card is a beautiful Christmas card, but what inspired me were the gorgeous papers she used and the circle of the wreath. You may be wondering where the partial die cutting is on this card. It is the scalloped square piece. I only have scalloped rectangle dies, so I had to do partial die cutting down to a certain point on the rectangle die, then I had to fit the partially die cut piece back into the rectangle die in such a way so I could cut the 4th side. This was a bit nerve wracking to do so I practiced with printer paper before doing this on my good paper. I had so much fun making this baby card, and I want to thank Liz for the terrific inspiration. I had such a hard time choosing just one of your cards so I may go find another one to case. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

I am in love with that sweet little giraffe. Karen, this is such a sweet baby card and I sure am impressed by how you wrangled that scalloped square. Love the papers and the sentiment in green is just the right color for this!
This is a beautiful card! The giraffe and baby pins are adorable. That paper and scalloped panel are perfect! Love B for baby card! How smart of you to think of that!
