Looking forward to seeing what everyone did with this color combo! Wow, Karen was brave today! Her dessert of feathers made me reach for this previously unused Bugaboo digi. And it sure was fun to color with all those colors Karen gave us. If you look closely, I even colored his beak and feet with navy. Another fun part of the coloring was that for the leaves instead of reaching for a different green I combined the GT2 (subbed for Bermuda Bay) and LY3 (subbed for Crushed Curry) together to make the perfect green. I used Bugaboo's Stella Says Sketch and dug through my papers looking for the right navy DP. How perfect is this tropical print to go with this fabulously tropical bird. The only problem was the off-white background. I filled in the leaves and flowers with white gel pen, so it would match with the rest of my white. I did find some feathers to add for dessert and a "Birds of a Feather" sentiment. I had fun making this tropical card--makes me think spring!
