I've had this foil for ages - It's the painted type. So I stamped my compass and embossed it. then I dry embossed with the globe folder. I sanded the foil to reveal the silver of the embossed areas. then I stamped the sentiment and embossed it is silver EP. I added a silver foil mat and mounted the piece on white CS. There was about an inch on the bottom that was white and I added a strip of black dotted washi tape and one of silver foil washi to the bottom of the card to finish. the inside has the big dipper stamped in black and the lucky stars sentiment embossed in silver.

This is amazing!!! Love the layout/design of this card, it is so interesting and artistic. And reading through how you created it boggles my mind! Lots of steps and techniques and the final result was this fabulous card. Nicely done!

I love that embossing folder. It looks great with your sanded foil, which was also a great way of making the compass rose look as if it had been stamped behind it. Super masculine feel.

What a great combination of stamped images and embossing. I haven’t seen that ef...it’s awesome..this is a fantastic guy card something I struggle with. Next time I’ll try this technique.

Dramatic and beautiful card, Pat! Love the foil showing through the black paint, perfect combination of ef and stamps. Thanks for playing in my challenge.
