Hello fellow tea-potters. Made it!...this week we tickle each other, and it is all about our fav. fairy tales growing up.
One of my fav. Growing up was Bambi, I had a little record, 45? and played it many times and the 2 songs on the other side too, now been singing it in my head half the day...well.....looking forward to April showers anyways after all this snow...:0)
I had saved in my tickle trunk this darling baby calendar...I do not think grand babies is in my future if at all anytime soon, and I LOVE Bambi, so decided to use it for crafts instead. win...I so love how easy this turned out and how cute it turned out.
I found a piece of dp scrap in my stash that happened to match quite well the flowers in our little scene here, and decided instead of gluing a sentiment in the middle, I left the top part of the Bambi strip unglued and made a little tag, that it the recipient wants can then be re-used.
I am off to see all the other fav. fairy tales in our little tea-party now...thanks for the visit and HUGS

Yes, Bambi had to be one of the sweetest movies, except for the hunters killing his father. I remember, my poor little granddaughter crying just like I did as a youngster.
This is such a sweet card with my favorite character: Thumper!

I was so young when I saw Bambi in the cinema that I barely remember it, my memories are more of the book which is not so cute. Love that embossed background with all the daisies. Fun idea to turn the card into a pocket - and well done for using up that calendar instead of saving it for if and when...

What a gorgeous card this is to represent one of the best childhood stories there is (in my opinion). I will always love Bambi and Thumper, but not the hunter- no! Your precious calendar piece works so beautifully on your card as does this gorgeous dsp. What a beautiful tag this is too! You have really made a terrific card for this week's Teapotter's challenge. ~Karen.

A great choice you made and it turned out so very cute--loved the story as did the kids. Great background and the daisy flowers on it---thinking spring for sure
