Well, I'm sitting here in the Crowne Plaza in Madison Wisconsin with my MISTI studio bag full of goodies. As you can see I packed handfuls of scraps and various die cuts in my bag. I sorted through them looking for green and gold and here is what I came up with. A scrap of gold foiled vellum, a scrap of Discover card offer envelope, gold glitter washi tape, a couple of little green squares from a pack sent to me by Glamour in our Christmas CraZy swap, and a die cut embossed butterfly sent to me by a teapotter. I just kind of threw it all together and finished with a pretty gold sentiment that I cut from an old store bought card. I love making cards in hotel rooms. It's always such an adventure!

Jen, what a great card made from scraps in a hotel room. I am so impressed! I would have packed all the wrong things for a color challenge! You are so creative. Hugz

Amazing what you were able to come up with for this challenge - that is definitely out of the box (making a card in a hotel room with whatever you had AND meet the challenge!)

Oh my gosh!!! I’m impressed with your creativity and your ability to combine found items (scrap from a Discover card offering, salvaged sentiment from commercial card), with items you happened to pack thinking they might work on a card. This is such a FUN result!
I’ve done similar cards-on-the-go when we go camping in our trailer. It’s a fun challenge to come up with something to add to a card that you never would have thought of if you were home and had all your supplies close at hand.
Your card is delightful and I am smiling thinking of you creating cards while everyone else is bored out of their minds flipping through tv channels. Isn’t cardmaking wonderful?!
