Last fall I had the opportunity to be a Growing in Unity gal. The honor comes with the opportunity to choose one free stamp set from Unity. I chose "A Good Life" in part because it is so different than my normal style and I wanted to branch out and try some new things.
I almost immediately made a card with it, which was fun. I also committed to making six more cards with it (a total of 7) using different styles/techniques/etc on each of them. My goal is to complete those cards by the end of February. Wish me luck!
This is Card #7 - I have completed my personal challenge goal.
For this card I heat embossed the image onto 110# White CS twice, using SU Gold Glory embossing powder. I fussy cut just the flower (not the additional artsy stuff) on one of the pieces. I took a bone folder and carefully curled the edges of the fussy cut flower. I used pop dots (just in the center of the flower) to pop this flower up off of the other embossed image to give it some dimension.
