The FS this week is Sally - CraftyMerla. A fun gallery and a sweet crafter.
Lewis (one of my 3 yr old Grandsons) decided we should play cards this afternoon since we haven't in a few weeks. Lewis picked this pretty card to case:
We didn't use Brushos (we used inks swiped on aluminum foil and splashed with watered down ginger ale (it was handy). We used a different color pallet than Sally and a different sentiment/image.
Lewis had fun drying the cardstock and swiping the inks. He even had fun taking off the back of the foam tape. I forgot how fun he is to craft with! We forget there can be fun in everything we do.
Congrats Sally! Thanks for the inspiration!

You and your grandson sure made a gorgeous card...he picked a pretty one to CASE. The bg is just gorgeous and looks perfect with that splendid butterfly. The bg has a Monet painting kind of look.
Wonderful.

Tell Lewis, his card turned out beautiful! I really like the colors in the background and pretty butterfly!
When my grandson was his around his age, he loved to craft too. I made him his own special spot on the counter. He liked to make clay figures. They are such a joy!

Absolutely stunning! How fun to work with your grandson and your patience must be a true gift. Your card creation is beautiful and a work of art. Looks like the butterfly is flying high in the sky and the sentiment is one that we should aspire to daily. Thank you so much for honoring me with your participation and thank Lewis too for his crafty genius.
