Have to admit, I have no idea when or how I made this dark, heat embossed and brick textured background paper, but little neighborhood die cut made it come alive, especially when I backed the windows with various colored snippets. I gave it a polka dot sky using Distress and DO inks direct to paper and then stamped the raspberry dots. The heart was die cut from a previously made gel print, textured with a different EF dotty pattern, and backed with foam for added dimension. It fit the Teapot Tuesday Architect theme, so this is going to be swapped with a fellow Teapotter, because I love our SCS community.

This is just awesome...that's the only problem with doing things ahead of time. Who knows how we did it or what we used? Problems, problems. I'm so happy you enjoyed the challenge, your creation is wonderful.

Cute neighborhood and I like that you lit the windows. Pretty heart and wonderful dots. I always like dots.

WOW...this is awesome! I understand how you can have something in your stash and have no idea how it came about...but you're right the light colored pieces behind the die cut houses are perfect! And I love the embossed gel print heart.

such fun going on here with your rainbow colored village...ever so slightly wonky...could it be our fair towne, friend? The colored window panes is perfect with FLW's esthetic. Most of all I love the polka dot sky. This will bring a smile to one Teapotter this month! It's such fun to put together a stash card...I am constantly going through a big binder of bits and pieces...Your village reminded me I haven't played with that in FOREVER!!!

Lovely write-up and a beautiful card. The polka dots add whimsy, and your dark brick piece from your stash was indeed perfect due the little row of houses. I agree, it's been a wonderfully inspired gallery.
