The Friday Free For All Challenge, F4A464 - âLets Eat!â- 01/11/19, was to make a card with something edible on it. My edible on this card is actually a drinkable item - Coke Cola!
The cute Cowkid image is one I up cycled from a thank you card I received yesterday from a dear friend. I just couldnt bring myself to toss this one in the trash and Iâm so glad todayâs challenge gave me a reason to use it!
I used a new unbranded distress oval die from China to cut out the image. After doing so, I discovered I had no other oval dies of this shape, so I was forced to pull out my scissors and make a red layering panel the old fashioned way. Holy cow, I havenât done that forever!!!! And wouldnât you know it, I also had to hand cut the inside section of the sentiment panel. That only took two trys...Oy! My scissor skills are sadly out of practice.
You will notice that the sentiment panel is hand written...with my real-life lousy penmanship. I thought about taking the time to make a computer generated sentiment but I decided it added a certain authenticity to the piece. Whoever I end up sending it to will recognize my penmanship and hopefully smile...or so I hope!

Oh my gosh, Suzy! What a fantastic upcycled image with the coke in the back pocket of the little boy's pants! This is a great response to the challenge!
