What a great challenge today, Shirley! I had so many cards to choose from and managed to find two that I could pull apart and make a non-christmas card. I've finally gotten around to using the mojo sketch that I've been admiring and I've used my January image from Imke for our monthly image swap. The larger panel is from a card that a co-worker gave me as is the sparkly fiber wrapped around it. The next panel is from a card from my (new) mail lady (Rick the mailman's wife)--who by the way just loved his retirement card.
I had fun coloring this pretty image. I don't do a lot of florals but I do enjoy them. I cut it out with my ScanNCut and applied it as the top panel of the sketch. Imke sent us pearls, so I used those in the flower centers and added a coating of Wink of Stella. The sentiment that Imke sent was add as an extra tag. I'm also linking to CT1218 because this recycling challenge fits the December theme perfectly.

Jennifer, your card is beautiful. I love the image and you colored it beautifully. I like the added ribbon with the silver fiber. Thank you, for playing the challenge with us today.

My grandson, Lewis, said, "look, Nan, a giant ice cream cone with flowers." He loves it! Such a pretty card with all kinds of wonderful details and such a pretty image. Wow. Hugz

I too love the idea of a giant ice cream cone of flowers! Your ice cream colours are beautiful! Love the write up you gave with the way the card came together and the significance of some of the elements. Super that you gave new life to previously used items! :-)
