This is one of those techniques that scares me because I have no control over how itâs going to turn out. And I only have one more sheet of watercolor paper if it had gone badly. So, as usual, I was timid with the water. I think I couldâve gotten a better result with more water. Maybe next time. I do like the background that I got, so thatâs a win. I think the hardest part of this was choosing an embossing folder. Who says I have too many sitting around not getting used? You know me so well, Karen. LOL! I had pretty much made this card before but using wax paper embossed resist here so Iâm also counting this for todays memories CAS challenge. I think I like this version better. Today instead of coloring with Spectrum Noirs, I watercolors with Spectrum Aquas and Distress inks because I thought it would look better with the background.

Now that is one cool ef which I've never seen before, how come? Too much water can mean the image gets a bit blurred, so if it was me I'd be really happy with how this came out! Great background for your cute fungus.

I love that sentiment and I remember when mushrooms were the hit décor for kitchens. Your bg turned out wonderfully.

I would never have thought to get a mushroom folder but it's perfect with your image. I'm smiling here because the shadows on the folder images resemble smiley faces - Fun!

This is quite simply outstanding! I love the results you achieved, and you persevered through your self doubt which is always so empowering. I have a "few" ef's lying around too so you have "company" as I like to say. I think this is a terrific card for the challenges and a fun masculine card too! Happy New Year's to you! ~Karen.
