Polly is this week's Mix hostess. Her challenge is At Face Value and she's looking for faces.
I stamped the face and sentiment on a gel print from my stash. Colored her cheeks and lips with colored pencils. Dry embossed the cardbase and rubbed wheat ink to highlight the script. Adhered the image panel and framed with ribbon to complete. TFL

Oh wow Miss Carla this is brilliant and a perfect addition to Polly's fabulous challenge gallery. I love every inch of this. I never would have thought to stamp a face on a Gelli print. She looks looks amazing with her coloured lips and cheeks!! I have no idea what wheat ink is, but I do know I love how it looks....and the exotic ribbon. Gee I hope you can tell how much I love this.

Beautiful! That face is lovely and is perfect stamped on a gelli print..a touch of color is all she needed. I love how the ribbon shows up on the edges...it creates such an interesting frame. Thanks for playing along!

This is really beautiful, Carla:
A serene and peaceful card. I love Gelli prints, even the ‘unsuccessful’ ones are useful in strange and exciting ways...lol

What a beautiful image, Carla. And she looks great stamped on the gel print. I think mine are mostly too dark to stamp on! It really adds to the vintage feel, along with that great dry-embossed script.

WOW! The result of your gel print bg with your stamped image in that sepia look if fantastic, Carla. Such an elegant card with the white textured background and finishing mesh ribbon edges! BEAUTIFUL!
