While searching for a "bridge" stamp I came across a couple of other - and just couldn't put them away without inking them up.
I have very fond memories of the little stone bridges in Scotland and the Yorkshire dales - over the many little streams. So strong and solid looking - and having stood there for so long as well.
I stamped this image and embossed it before colouring with watercolour paints and pencils. Once finished I added highlights in the trees and shrubs with glitter pen.
To finish off I added a little touch of Scotland - with the tartan edging.
Hope you enjoy.

Ha, I was going to say this made me think of Scotland, even though I've never been there. The Yorkshire Dales, yes, but I was there in late winter, early Spring so I see it in greens and greys. What a wonderful trio of cards... whichever you send will be a treat to receive.
Love how you have this cool style of your own. My very dear friend is from Scotland, but has lived in the States for 20 plus years. Scotland is on my bucket list...

Scotland is on my bucket list, I love tartan and of course I'm sure I knew Jamie in a previous life. Your tribute to Scotland and bridges is fabulous Helen. I love all three cards to bits my friend. Keep cool.

Scotland is in my dreams for travel, at the top of my "bucket list". Love the tartan background, but especially love your watercolor painting - the scene is so peaceful. Beautiful work!!
