Oh how I wish it was cold and frosty here - specially over the next week. No self respecting snow flake would survive the temperatures we are going to experience. We are in for a major heat wave - with temperatures up to around 39c - which is hot - specially day after day of it. So as you can see we can only dream of a cold Christmas.
I used a watercolour background for this card - using a lovely rich blue colour, spritzing and sprinkling it with water and adding more colour till I was happy with the colour. I then dabbed it off a little with paper towel and let it dry a bit. I then placed it under my craft mats and put a weighty book on top to flatten it while it dried off completely.
The snowflake die was free with one of the English craft magazines - so was the little sentiment. I wanted to put "let it snow" on the card - but don't have a die so Merry Christmas will have to do.
Well - this is the last Christmas card for this year - or perhaps it could be the first for next year. Nothing like an early start.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Hope you enjoy.
