This is my sample for the Yupo Winter Scene tutorial - you can find all the instructions HERE!
I used brown alcohol ink and a bronze patina along with rubbing alcohol to create my background, then stuck foil down on the still-sticky parts and dotted white acrylic paint in for more snow. A note too - Yupo die cuts beautifully, and you can use it for stencils!
The dies I used are from Impression Obsession, as well as a background stamp of trees and the vintage script.
More details, closeups and links on my blog HERE - including some exciting information about the awesome adhesive I used on those detailed dies!

Dina, this is marvelous! Love the bg for the sledding child, the intricate snowflakes with the buttons, and the colors have a vintage-y feel.Came back to add thank you for the adhesive info, that is right up my ally after my recent struggle with glue dots.

Love the old fashioned look of you beautiful winter card. I am on vacation and cannot play, but will try this technique. I have a similar adhesive that I think is called StudioTac. I usually use it for attaching lace and fabric ribbons to cards.
