I know! I know! It's most certainly not CAS but I made my own wood background this morning and I am so proud of it! I covered the choc chip card with embossing paste, and created lines and marks with the spatula. Dried with a heat gun, then rubbed lightly with sand paper. Added streaks of Walnut stain and Peeled Paint - dried again. I distressed the edges before securing to the card front. Die Cut the wreath and popped up with foam pads, die cut the poinsettias and shaped. Computer generated the words and sponged the card while still in the die. Popped up with 3 layers of foam pads in the centre. Am I forgiven ....

My goodness! I think this is incredible! What an amazing faux wood background. Thank you for the details on how you made it. I may give this a go! I love wreaths and your poinsettias are perfect against the distress "wood" background!
