One of my favorite styles of cards to make is a scene with masking, and sponging.
Stamped the large trees by coloring only the bottom portion of the trees with zig markers. Then I clear embossed the entire tree. Stamped the horizon/tree line, and masked that. Then I sponged the sky - because the entire tree was clear embossed this makes the branches look frosted! This is an idea I got from Mimi Jordaine from PB. Spritzed the sky with water/blotted with paper towel, then splattered white acrylic paint. Removed the mask for the horizon trees, stamped and black embossed the sentiment so it would show more. Sponged a bit of shadow at the base of the tall trees and then stamped some silhouette branches in the foreground. So fun to make!

Maura, your trees definitely look frosted. What a beautiful wintry scene. Looks like a snow storm in progress. I love this complete scene.
