I know you guys are shaking your heads saying nooooo she stamped that background. Trust me, this is a stencil!!!!!! :-) I have some alcohol inks all over quite a few of my stencils, because, well, I hate cleaning em. LOL That's my dirty stencil off to the left in the picture.
There is a cool trick that you can do when you have a bunch of alcohol inks all over your stencils. Spray some glossy paper with alcohol or colorless blender solution and press it onto your colorful stencil. Run it through your die cutting machine to marry the color to your glossy paper - BONUS is that you get a cool little debossing going on where the stencil presses into your paper. Can you see it?
Try it out sometime after you've played with your alcohol inks and stencils. Just leave the ink on your stencils (it's still good even weeks later!) and get your glossy paper and your mister full of blending solution. It's a fun and different way to play with your stencils!

You reverse stenciling turned out great and is SO much faster and neater than trying to sponge into the openings - I actually thought about doing that too, but didn't have any thing "pre-inked".

Very clever, Holly. I really like the look of this. I am so bad about cleaning up after myself that it did my heart good to hear that you are like me in that regard. Pretty card.
