Whoa! how far out of my comfort zone is this WT challenge!?! I write to my DG at university as well as using modern social media, and this will be going to her. I started with the girl - stamped with black Versafine and embossed her with delicious SU melon EP... smells wonderful! Chalked around the mask, then stamped the other elements - music which she is studying, and fluffy dandelion clocks we used to pick when she was a pre-schooler. Cut up the sentiment and added yellow sequins. Now to check out the gallery and see how it's 'really' done!

There is no "really done" way for collage - not that I know of! How lovely that your write as well as using modern media. I used to write to my mother too, although we spoke regularly on the phone. There's something different and special about the written word - and finding something in the letter box. I think that dandelion background works so well with your dreaming girl. They suggest wishes and dreams for the future.

Oh, neighbor, if only in the best cyber sense!…you knocked it outta the park with a most interesting and relevant collage. Your dear granddaughter will luv it! I especially like the movement you created with the scratched lines and the dandelions. (I never knew YA’LL called them clocks...we call them weeds or wish fulfillers!). Also the small clock face in the lower corner...so much to luv about this loaded sistersandie collage.

Well Sandie, I think you have made an outstanding collage! That girl is so perfect for your university attending granddaughter and I do love the dandelion images, so delicate. Lovely colors and I like your split up greeting.
