This month's new Fan Club/Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge is an easy one (which I needed to do). This is a super simple card, and I hope you'll join us. It's been so wonderful to continue to make cards throughout the year. While I've wanted to do this for years, it's taken this wonderful challenge to motivate me. Join us!
I chose this "never-been-used" Serendipity image and colored it and decided (as I was resting earlier today) that it might look good over this sweet Christmas script (which may also be a NBUS stamp - I think). I'm trying to "use or lose" this year and hope to make a dent on my large collection of stamps. I colored and fussy cut the image, stamped the script (die cut it and matted it), and then popped the holly image with thin foam squares. I don't have a sentiment other than the script, so these might be good for thank-you notes for Christmas gifts or quick cards to make as Christmas fast approaches (I made two of these already today).
Thank you so much for taking a closer look at my card! Wishing you all a wonderful week and a happy October! (I was talking with a friend at church today, and she and her DH are going up to PA to visit her mom - and they'll get to see some fall leaves. She promised some photos! I miss the fall color change up north.) Hugs, all! xoxo

Love this, Cheryl. Your coloring is always so beautiful and, wow, can you ever fussy cut - it is PERFECT! You are right - your focal looks great with the scripty BG. Nice layering, too.
Faved!

I think the holly and berry plus the script stamps are definitely ones you should consider continuing to "use" rather than "lose", Cheryl! I love what you've done putting them together for this gorgeous Christmas card. Your coloring is amazing as always and the CAS layout really lets each part shine. Love this!

Classy! Cheryl the holly looks great and I do like the scrip background. Very classy feeling. I need to do the use it or lose it myself. Does that count when you order new stuff as well? hee hee I might not do so well then. Wonderful card girlie!

Beautifully coloured as always. You always give so much life to your coloured images - specially the gloss on the holly leaves and highlights on the little red berries. So nicely done.

What can I say...amazing! Your coloring is spot on and the framing really shows off the holly and leaves...love the script bg. Our leaves are just starting to turn..we had a hot Sept so that may be why they are delayed. Going for a walk now along the Mississippi...my favorite walking path..
Wow, Cheryl! This is stunning! The script looks fabulous and you certainly don't need a sentiment! These would make beautiful thank you notes! Your coloring is gorgeous!
