This month's new Fan Club/Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge is an easy one (which I needed to do). This is a super simple card, and I hope you'll join us. It's been so wonderful to continue to make cards throughout the year. While I've wanted to do this for years, it's taken this wonderful challenge to motivate me. Join us!
I chose this "never-been-used" Serendipity image and colored it and decided (as I was resting earlier today) that it might look good over this sweet Christmas script (which may also be a NBUS stamp - I think). I'm trying to "use or lose" this year and hope to make a dent on my large collection of stamps. I colored and fussy cut the image, stamped the script (die cut it and matted it), and then popped the holly image with thin foam squares. I don't have a sentiment other than the script, so these might be good for thank-you notes for Christmas gifts or quick cards to make as Christmas fast approaches (I made two of these already today).
Thank you so much for taking a closer look at my card! Wishing you all a wonderful week and a happy October! (I was talking with a friend at church today, and she and her DH are going up to PA to visit her mom - and they'll get to see some fall leaves. She promised some photos! I miss the fall color change up north.) Hugs, all! xoxo

Cheryl, this is the sweetest card!! Your beautiful script just sets off the holly sprig and speaks of all the beauty of Christmas! I have a lot of Christmas stamps never been used...but when we do it is such a delight!

Beautiful, as always Cheryl. I love the holly image, and the colouring on the leaves is stunning. The background stamp brings it all together making yet again, a beautiful card.

Cheryl, I really love that Christmas script in the background. I don't believe I've seen it before. And, your holly is colored so beautifully. Looks as if you went outside and cut some from the holly bush/tree. It's another of your gorgeous cards. Please take care.

Beautiful! I love the square format and the crisp framing. The red, white and black supports that blast of gorgeous fresh green superbly! What a lovely holly image that is and you've paired it wonderfully with the script background.
