Let's talk about how brave I was today. I cut the middle out of a 12x12 sheet of DP. Because it has a faint outline of the US and I wanted to get New England in my card. You can just about make out the outline of Massachusetts under the last e in "adventure".
I thought this ScanNCut pattern would be a fun one for today's technique. I did have to do a bit of masking to do the embossing on the bottom word. This is a card for a coworker who's leaving to go work for Liberty Mutual in Boston. Traitor. I'm sad to see him go. He was the last one left of a group of guys that I hired when I was. Pricing Manager. His family lives near Boston, so I can't blame him for going to work there instead of in Rhode Island. When we originally did the double triangle fold challenge, I made a second card base with my leftovers and I thought it looked good with this sentiment. Of course I couldn't resist adding some black lines borders and a paper clip.

I love the end result, Jennifer! That hint of graph paper backing the sentiment is just the perfect nod to a map, and the idea of changing locations. You added just the right amount of detail with the lines and paper clip. Great job, thanks for sharing it!

Jenn, that paper clip is the perfect accoutrement! I especially love the scale of all your elements...as well as the pain of using a beloved piece of DP. Perhaps I should just sent you all my East Coast sides of my maps!!! Nicely designed.
