This print was made by eco printing. This technique was shared with me by my good friend. You can see the video here. This is fun and addictive to do. A few notes on the process. You do not need to buy alum. Vinegar can act as a mordant. We have used cardboard for plates as well as plywood but I found some sheet aluminum at Lowe's that John cut for me. We have held the sandwich down with rock or a brick. This was boiled only for an hour. I did add home made walnut ink to my water. My walnut ink is weak so I did like the soft color it added. Have fun with this. This card is just inlaid with Shimmer Sheetz- so fast and easy. Thank you for looking.

Oh, oh happy day....one of your gorgeous creations to ooooh and ahhh over. I watched the video and decided that I would loose my patience before step two. This is so soft and magical. The muted colors are lovely. Your art is so creative and unique, Nancy.

It turned out beautifully! I gave it a try using smaller pieces but my impatience made the designs not as colorful as I'd hoped. I'll post a picture in my gallery so you can see the prints I got. Thanks for sharing the technique!

Tried once but didn't get as good a print as you Nancy. Off to the UK soon but will try again when I get back. I either din't leave it long enough or didn't add enough vinigar
I love the print you created so I'm not giving up.

I had a chuckle when you said this was fun and addictive, clearly you are talking about the technique - but on first glance I thought this was a marijuana leaf LOL....you can see where my fun and addictive conclusion came from. I digress, Nancy everything about this is brilliant. Thanks for the link although this is way above my pay grade.
