See the outside of the card for more description. The pirate ship is from a photo of a quilt pattern. I enlarged it just a little and used a copy to create my paper pieced pirate ship, then added the waves with the So Swirly die. I used a hand-cut cloud for the answer and also a hand cut banner for the greeting, but it looked rather plain so I added a sponged in sky.

What a wonderful birthday card. I love the ship because it looks as if it has been around a while with the paint peeling. It has probably travelled to many interesting places. Great waves, also.

A very creative work of art. I like it. Like how you distressed the side of the boat. I'm sure your happy birthday recipient must have liked it.
