from The Plow and Heath website and this is what came out of me. The turtle pattern is built in to the Scan N Cut machine. I selected scraps and some papers from an old 2008 page a day type scrapbooking calendar and followed the instructions. I felt the turtle needed more definition so I used a black pilot pen to first add dots around the holes and then connect them so it looks like it was stitched on a sewing machine. Adding a fabric trim seemed fitting with my faux applique theme.

For sure, that does look like real stitching on your turtle. He is just so cute and you did such a fab job with your folk art turtle inspiration. I really like the sentiment.
