I am also continuing to celebrate with Shery Russ and her Stamplorations crew (5 year birthday, Congrats Shery!) I was inspired by Lynne's coffee card here. I liked how she used multipe colors for her bg.
Stamped and embossed the coffee cup on a piece of cs slightly larger than the stamp, and masked the coffee cup with a mask made from post-it tape. Sponged warm colors till I was satisfied, removed mask and sponged the coffee cup with blues. Sprayed the panel with shimmer mist for some sparkle. Trimmed the image leaving a bit of sponged color around the frame, then matted twice. Adhered to card front, die cut the sentiment, and adhered. Very fun and fairly quick (for me)!

Just gorgeous, Maura....awesome background with all the spritzing and embossing. Super sponging on the cup, too.

Love how you've pulled the sunset colours into your bold and beautiful card.
